Showing God’s Love in Action to Israel
Dear Friend,
I met them. I prayed with them. I wept with them. I’ll never forget it.
On my most recent trip to Israel, I had the heartbreaking privilege of meeting survivors of the terrorist attack. I talked to hostages who had been freed. I talked to parents grieving the loss of their children. I talked to young IDF soldiers who had spent weeks on the frontlines.
Over and over, I told them, “You are not alone.”
The Jewish people know they are hated. They’ve seen reports from the pro-Hamas demonstrations in America and Europe and around the world. They’ve seen the votes at the United Nations overwhelmingly condemn them for fighting to survive. They’ve seen the ridiculous charges of genocide being leveled in global judicial settings.
They’ve buried friends and loved ones. They’ve buried little children. They’ve buried aged Holocaust survivors killed by the terrorists. They’ve buried IDF soldiers killed defending their country and their people.
They are hurting. They need us right now.
We have been doing everything possible to meet the urgent needs of suffering people in Israel.
We’ve been delivering food to poor Holocaust survivors too afraid to leave their tiny apartments. We’ve been housing families forced to flee their homes at the Friends of Zion Center in Jerusalem.
We were also approved by the Ministry of Education as a host site, and refugee children are going to school at the Friends of Zion Center as well.
We are bringing in families of those still being held hostage and providing them a break from the fear and doubt they live with every day.
We are providing supplies to IDF soldiers who are fighting for the life of their nation.
I’m Mike Evans, head of the Jerusalem Prayer Team and founder and CEO of the Friends of Zion Museum in Jerusalem. We are a global group of tens of millions of believers who stand with and for the nation of Israel and the Jewish people. Our purpose is to fulfill the Bible command to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and to bless the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
Every single day, we are doing all that we can to speak out in defense of Israel and help victims of terror and their families in their time of great crisis.
And we’re going to keep doing all of this and more as friends like you continue to make it possible.
We have already provided 13.5 million meals to war-torn souls in Ukraine and Israel…victims of terror, widows, orphans, and Holocaust survivors like Sheila who, when I told her we were taking her to Israel from Ukraine, said, “I was born in a war, and thought I would die in a war, but I put my faith in God, and you came for me.”
That’s why I need your help because we can’t stop now.
The physical help we are providing is huge — literally the difference between life and death for some precious people. But they need more than just food and clothes and medicine. They need hope.
Jesus is the “rose of Sharon,” and I am asking you to show His love in action to His Jewish brothers and sisters today.
We’ve created cards with a rose attached to them. The card has a Bible verse and a message of hope in both English and Hebrew. What I’m asking you to do is sponsor a card with your gift.
In your honor, we will hand it, along with the help we provide to a poor Holocaust survivor, a victim recovering from injuries in the terrorist attacks, a family whose loved one is still being held hostage or a young IDF soldier risking his or her life in defense of Israel.
This will be your way of telling them…and showing them…that they are not alone. I can’t think of a more important message we could send right now.
The longer the war drags on…and despite what the Jew-haters are saying, this is NOT a war that Israel chose or wants to fight, but a war they HAVE to fight and win…the greater the toll on the Jewish people. And what that means is that we must do even more to help.
There’s a reason people call the Friends of Zion Center every day looking for help.
The bright light of Christian love we are shining together from the Holy City has spread across the entire nation.
You can be a blessing to a suffering nation.
You can be a comfort to those who mourn in Zion.
You can be a witness that true Christians love and care for God’s Chosen People.
You can be a help to the helpless.
None of the humanitarian outreach that we are doing to bless and protect God’s Chosen People is possible without the generous financial support of friends like you.
I am asking you to send your most generous gift possible.
If you are able to give a gift of $30 or more, we will send you a beautiful Friends of Zion olivewood pen. The olive tree is an important part of Israel’s history. This laser-engraved pen is a beautiful writing implement, but far more, it will be a constant prayer reminder as you use it throughout the day. You will also receive an American and Israeli flag lapel pin. It is a great way for you to show your support of the Jewish state and your belief that America must stand with Israel.
If you are able to give a gift of $60 or more to help provide food, medical care, and other critical resources to families shattered by these violent terror attacks, letting them know that they are not alone, you will receive the Bible Promise Box. This box is filled with small cards that contain God’s promises for your life that you can select and read each day. You will also receive the olivewood pen and the lapel pin.
If you are able to give an incredibly generous gift of $100 or more to help provide essential supplies and equipment in bomb shelters, we will send you a beautiful, full-color afghan with the words of God to the prophet Isaiah, “Comfort ye, comfort ye My people.” This is exactly what you are doing when you send your gift of love to meet this need. As you enjoy using it, it will be a great reminder of your love for God’s Chosen People. You will also receive the lapel pin, the olivewood pen, and the Bible Promise Box.
The needs are so great. I can’t imagine having to say no to the precious people who are coming to us for help, but the only way we can say yes to them is if you first say yes to us.
So please rush your gift. The needs grow day by day.
Will you comfort God’s Chosen People today? Will you be their hope? Will you be their defense? Will you be God’s hands and feet of love stretched out to them? I pray that your answer will be YES. God bless you.
Your ambassador to Jerusalem,

Dr. Mike Evans
P.S. Please stop right now and ask God what He would have you do…and please let me hear from you right away.
