Help the Poor Holocaust Survivors of Israel
You have seen the horrors of the terrorist attacks against Israel. I can tell you firsthand the suffering is unimaginable.
Within hours of the murderous attack by Hamas, I travelled to southern Israel. There are no words to adequately describe what it feels like to look at hundreds of bodies of innocent people killed simply because they were Jewish. Men, women, children, and even precious Holocaust survivors were slaughtered. I can’t even describe to you some of the things I’ve seen. This is the worst massacre since the end of the Holocaust.
I’m Dr. Mike Evans, the founder and CEO of the Friends of Zion Center in Jerusalem. Our mission is clear: to stand with Israel and support the Jewish people. Every day, we are on the frontlines providing desperately needed urgent care to those who are hurting. We provide daily meals to thousands of elderly Jewish people, many of whom are Holocaust survivors. We also bring aid to the victims of terror, and we were among the first to provide help to those who were suffering so greatly after the most recent terrorist attacks.
Today, Israel is in crisis. Virtually every family has felt the anguish of losing loved ones, friends, and neighbors. Sirens continue to go off throughout the country warning of incoming missiles launched by terrorists.
Thousands of Holocaust survivors in both the north and south of Israel are living in fear and terror—something they know and remember all too well. Many of them cannot leave their homes because of their age and illness. Often those who could leave are afraid to do so because they will have only 15 seconds to find shelter in case of a rocket attack. As a result, there are many precious Holocaust survivors who are in desperate need.
It’s not enough for us to be outraged by these senseless attacks or shake our heads in disbelief at the persistence of hatred. We can’t wait for someone else to step up; it’s up to you and me. The ancient command of God, as spoken through the prophet Isaiah, resounds in our hearts: “Comfort ye, comfort ye My people” (Isaiah 40:1).
We need your help. The work we do to protect and support God’s Chosen People and care for poor Holocaust survivors would not be possible without generous friends like you.
A gift of $25.00 can deliver a day’s worth of food, medicine, and other emergency supplies to a precious Holocaust survivor in Israel. Will you join with us in providing this desperately needed care?
Together we can make a significant difference in the lives of poor Holocaust survivors and other Jewish people in Israel who are suffering so terribly. We can be a beacon of light, hope, and support for God’s Chosen People.
Thank you for standing with the Jewish people during their time of need.
Your ambassador to Jerusalem,

Dr. Mike Evans
