Here’s the truth about Hamas and Israel the liberal media won’t tell you

The brutal slaughter of more than 1,400 innocent Jewish men, women, and children carried out by Hamas on the 50th anniversary of the Yom Kippur War was a grim reminder that the evil of Jew-hatred is not something confined to the pages of history. The desire to destroy God’s Chosen People has been around for thousands of years, and today there are millions of people whose most intense desire is to finish the job that Hitler started in the Holocaust.

Hamas is armed, equipped, trained, and funded by Iran. They have been given rockets, missiles, guns, and ammunition, and now that their masters in Tehran have given the word, they are seeking to carry out the stated goal of their organization, to see Israel completely destroyed. Their chant, which is sadly being echoed in many places in the United States, says: “Palestine must be free, from the river to the sea!” From the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea is the entirety of the nation of Israel. 

These are not empty slogans designed for propaganda value. This is what they want. The world often pressures Israel to negotiate with the very people who not only declare their intent to massacre Israelis but carry out that intent at every opportunity. The scale of this attack was shocking, but the fact that people who want Israel destroyed act to destroy Israel is no surprise. It’s been happening ever since the nation was reborn in 1948.

There are world leaders right now putting pressure on Israel to limit their response to this devastating act of war. This is Israel’s Pearl Harbor moment. Imagine someone telling America after that sneak attack that they could only respond in limited ways. That’s outrageous and would never have happened. Yet that is what is happening to Israel right now. 

Because Hamas has successfully hidden their missiles facilities and stores of explosives in schools, hospitals, mosques, and office buildings, any Israeli attack will have civilian casualties. But those are not Israel’s fault, but the fault of Hamas using those people as shields. Israel must have the ability and freedom to defend themselves, and that means that Hamas must be destroyed. The world must not be allowed to tie Israel’s hands, or there will be far more such deadly attacks in the future.
