Dear Christian Friend,
I am writing to you from Israel after meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and going into Gaza with the Israel Defense Forces. This is my fourth trip to the frontlines since the war started.
On my last visit after I met with Franklin Graham in Jerusalem, I was invited by my friend the Foreign Minister of Israel Eli Cohen to join him and the foreign ministers of Ireland and the EU at Kibbutz Be’eri where 100 innocent Israelis were tortured to death. Many of them were burned alive and beheaded.
The survivors of this kibbutz will be coming to the Friends of Zion Center in Jerusalem for a hope and healing event, where we will give them things that they urgently need as they try to put their lives back together.
The deadly Hamas invasion on October 7th was a stark reminder of the depths of Jew-hatred and the demonic evil that seeks to destroy God’s Chosen People.
While this evil is not new, it is more active in our world right now than at any point in our lifetimes. And we MUST respond.
I’m Dr. Mike Evans, and it is my privilege to be the founder and head of the Jerusalem Prayer Team. Things are happening in the Middle East right now that have dramatic implications for the future. And things are happening in America right now that will determine whether we have God’s blessing or His judgment.
While so much of the world is telling Israel to stop defending itself, the Jewish people are suffering unspeakable hell…and they urgently need our help.
Would you please prayerfully consider sending a special gift to comfort those who are mourning in Zion?
Israel is fighting a war to survive.
On October 7, some 2,500 terrorists streamed into Israel by land, sea, and air, killing over 1,400 people, a majority of them civilians in their homes and at an outdoor music festival. Hamas and allied terrorist factions also dragged over 230 hostages — including some 30 children — into the Gaza Strip where many remain captive.
I was approved by the Israeli government to go to the massacre sites. I held a bloody blanket that was used to cover the bodies of two Holocaust survivors after they were tortured to death. I held a makeup brush from an 18-year-old girl who was raped, shot, and burned alive. I wept in a children’s room where three babies saw their father murdered, and where a pregnant women had her stomach cut open and the baby beheaded before her eyes.
Hamas named their attack Operation “Al-Aqsa Flood” (named after the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem). It was meticulously planned by Iran. The Hamas terrorists were trained in Iran, and the weapons came from Iran and Russia.
Why? Because the leaders of Iran are “Twelvers” who want an Apocalypse against the Little Satan, Israel, to usher in the Islamic Messiah before they attack the Great Satan, America.
They believe all the world will bow to Islam once this happens.
Iranian security officials “gave the green light” for the deadly assault at a meeting in Beirut five days before October 7, according to senior members of Hamas and Lebanon’s Iran-backed Hezbollah movement.
They make no secret that they are carrying out Iran’s instructions. At least 500 Hamas terrorists were trained in Iran for the attack.
The fighters were promised $10,000 if they killed or captured a Jew. They attacked peaceful kibbutzim. A total of 70 Hamas terrorists carried out a massacre at Be’eri, an Israeli kibbutz near the Gaza Strip. At least 100 people were killed in the attack, including women, children, and infants.
They attacked a music festival celebrating the end of the Feast of Tabernacles. Hamas gunmen surrounded 3,000 young people on the final day of Sukkot. The open terrain left few places to hide. Many attendees who hid in the trees were murdered as militants methodically shot them, killing 364 civilians and wounding masses.
The mastermind of the Hamas massacre was Yahya Sinwar who had been treated in Israel for brain cancer at no cost to him or his family for two years. They saved his life, yet he went back to the kibbutz that took him in and helped murder the people who lived there.
Seventeen funerals. Fifteen funerals. Forty funerals.
Day after day, grieving families are burying their loved ones. Many of the bodies were mutilated and burned so badly the victims have still not been identified.
We held a prayer event for the families of the hostages at the Friends of Zion Center in Jerusalem.
We are helping the victims and also widows and orphans and providing first responders and soldiers with tourniquets to save their lives, as well as taking food to the homeless and Holocaust survivors who are hiding and afraid to go out.
I held these beloved suffering souls in my arms, weeping with them.
There are refugee families living at the Friends of Zion Center in Jerusalem, and I was just informed that the minister of education has approved Friends of Zion for schoolchildren from the south to begin coming to class here daily.
But there is so much more that needs to be done.
We are giving $50 vouchers to refugees, Holocaust survivors, IDF soldiers, widows, and others in desperate need. These are issued by the government of Israel, and we are paying for them. This allows these precious people to buy exactly what is most important to them, and get a few things to replace all that they have lost…and all that they need for the days ahead.
Will you sponsor one…or ten…or fifty…or more? More than 200,000 Israeli’s are homeless, many of them are widows and orphans.
Please, please, please be as generous as possible…and please stop right now and ask God what you should do. You will save lives with your gift today.
With a gift of any amount, we will send you the Psalm 121:7 Scripture tag. On the front, it bears the promise that, “The Lord will keep you from all harm; He will watch over your life” as well as the inscription “Oct 7, 2023 Never Again” — while the back says the same thing in Hebrew.
If you can send a gift of $30 or more, we will send you a beautiful Friends of Zion olivewood pen. The olive tree is an important part of Israel’s history. This laser-engraved pen is a beautiful writing implement, but far more, it will be a constant prayer reminder as you use it throughout the day. You will also receive the Psalm 121:7 Scripture tag.
If you are able to send a gift of $60 or more, you will receive the Bible Promise Box. You may remember someone in your family having one. This box is filled with small cards that contain God’s promises for your life that you can select and read each day. You will also receive the olivewood pen and the Psalm 121:7 Scripture tag.
And if you are able to send a gift of $100 or more, we will send you an authentic ram’s horn shofar. Since ancient times, these trumpets have been used by the Jewish people for worship or for battle. You will be proud to display it in your home or office. You will also receive the Psalm 121:7 Scripture tag, the olivewood pen, and the Bible Promise Box.
I hear the words of Jesus, “I was hungry, and you fed Me.” That is what you are doing with your gift today. Please let us hear from you right away.
There is no doubt in my mind all the crises that America is facing right now, from the price of oil to inflation, have been caused because of principalities and powers being emboldened.
There is nothing that could bring the judgment of God greater on America than God’s people being silent.
That’s why I’m asking you to sign the enclosed covenant of support for Prime Minister Netanyahu and the nation Israel…and I’m asking you to send a generous financial gift as well. The support we receive from friends like you makes it possible for us to continue all that this great global prayer movement is doing.
Thank you for standing with us. Yes, we are in a spirit war against great powers of darkness…but God is on our side, and as we obey His voice and call for His aid, we cannot be defeated!
Your ambassador in Jerusalem,

Dr. Mike Evans
P.S. You and I are standing at a prophetic crossroads moment in human history. We must act now to do our part in God’s plan for the future of our country, of Israel, and of our entire world. I appreciate your help so very much, and I encourage you to be as generous as you possibly can when you send your gift today. And please remember to add your name to the covenant of support and add your voice to the friends of Israel who are speaking out against this existential threat to the Jewish people. The battle is grave, and we must stand with Israel because Iran has vowed to wipe them off the map.
I Will Stand in the Gap for Israel
With the nation of Israel surrounded by enemies, and even friends like the United States wavering in support, it is more important than ever that we do our part to bless and defend God’s Chosen People. There is a spirit war raging, and it can only be fought and won with spiritual weapons—and that is why the Jerusalem Prayer Team is so vitally important right now. Your generous gift today will bless the Jewish people and help defend them from destruction.
YES, Dr. Evans, I want to do my part to stand in the gap for Israel and win the spirit war.
My gift for the vital work of the Jerusalem Prayer Team is:
