Israel Is Still Under Threat, And We Cannot Look Away
The headlines may change, but the reality on the ground has not.
Israel continues to face ongoing threats that can escalate without warning. Sirens still sound. Families still run for shelter. And across the country, uncertainty remains a constant part of daily life.
For many, this is not a moment…it is a condition they are living through.
Communities remain on edge. Families are navigating fear, disruption, and real physical need.
And in the middle of it all, Friends of Zion is there.
Our teams are actively serving…visiting hospitals, delivering critical supplies, and bringing food and water to those taking shelter, including Holocaust survivors and vulnerable families.
In the hardest places, we are showing up with practical help and compassionate care.
This work continues because of people like you who refuse to turn away.
A Reality That Has Not Passed
What Israel is facing is not over.
While intensity may rise and fall, the threats remain present and ongoing.
There are continued efforts to pressure Israel from multiple fronts.
There are systems and strategies in place designed to target civilian populations.
There are groups and leaders who continue to speak openly against Israel’s right to exist.
This is not a temporary crisis. It is a sustained reality.
What This Means
Moments like this can feel distant until we recognize what people are living through every day.
Parents teaching their children what to do when sirens sound.
Elderly individuals unable to safely access food or medicine.
Families displaced or recovering from sudden loss.
This is not theoretical. It is happening now, and it continues.
Our Response Matters
In times like this, we are called to pray.
Pray for protection.
Pray for wisdom for leaders.
Pray for peace in a region that desperately needs it.
Pray for the innocent on all sides of conflict.
Pray for the people of Israel.
As Scripture reminds us, we are called to pray for the peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122:6).
But we are also called to act.
Through your support, Friends of Zion is:
- Delivering urgent humanitarian aid
- Providing food, water, and essential supplies
- Supporting Holocaust survivors and vulnerable communities
- Standing in visible solidarity with Israel
This is how we respond—not with distance, but with action.
History will remember those who chose to stand.
