The War Is Raging and We MUST Respond

The US and Israel are locked in a battle with Iran, and the mullahs are attacking around the clock. Millions of Jewish people have been driven into bomb shelters again and again as the warning sirens sound. Hundreds have had their homes destroyed, and the attacks continue day after day.

Even as the alarms continue to sound, our teams are going out to help those in need. We’re going to hospitals, delivering relief supplies, taking food and water to bomb shelters for Holocaust survivors, and so much more. A Regime Under Pressure

Iran’s leadership is under extraordinary strain.

Economically, the nation has suffered inflation spiraling beyond 45%, a collapsing currency, and banking instability. Protests have been met with brutal repression. Thousands of Iranians have reportedly been killed in crackdowns over recent months, with arrests and executions continuing.

Externally, its proxy network has been weakened. A regime under pressure at home and abroad can become unpredictable.

History teaches us that when governments feel cornered, escalation becomes more likely — not less. And if escalation comes, Israel will be the primary target.

The Ideological Factor Few Discuss

Iran’s ruling clerical leadership is rooted in Twelver Shiite theology. Central to that doctrine is belief in the return of the “Mahdi,” a messianic figure who, according to tradition, emerges during a period of great turmoil and global conflict.

Senior figures within the Islamic Republic have openly spoken about preparing the world for that return. This language is not symbolic. It is part of the revolutionary identity of the regime.

Why does this matter now? Because a government shaped by apocalyptic expectation may act irrationally. What others see as catastrophic escalation, some within Iran’s leadership may interpret as a historic opportunity.

At a moment when the regime is economically strained, internally unstable, and now under direct military pressure, escalation can serve both strategic and ideological purposes.

And Israel sits squarely within range. When a cornered regime with revolutionary theology faces confrontation, the risk is not only retaliation — but escalation.

Now We Pray

In moments like this, our first response must be prayer:

• Pray for wisdom for American and Israeli leaders.
• Pray for protection over U.S. servicemen and women.
• Pray for restraint that prevents wider regional war.
• Pray for innocent civilians across the Middle East.
• Pray especially for the people of Israel.

Scripture commands us to pray for the peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122:6). That command does not expire in moments of war.

Prayer Is Not Passive

When conflict begins, misinformation spreads quickly.

Israel is often portrayed as the aggressor — even when responding to threats openly declared against its existence.

We cannot wait for retaliation before mobilizing support.

We cannot wait for missiles to fall before standing visibly with God’s Chosen People.
